I never bothered about knowing my perfect bra size until it was time to shop new bras.

I understand that a lot of you my ladies struggle with this too so I have decided to come to your rescue. Oh yeah, you can call me your fairy mother. Haha!!

So the big question is; “are you wearing your correct bra size?

Before we get into the actual measurement, let me tell you why you need a perfect bra!

3 Reasons Why You Need A Perfect Fitting Bra

1. For maximum comfort

2. A perfect fitting bra makes you feel more confident.

3. A perfect fitting bra reduces premature breast sagging.

How To Know You Are Not Wearing The Perfect Bra

  1. The underwire pokes out at the sides of your breasts.
  2. The band rides up.
  3. You breasts spill out of your bra.
  4. The straps do not fit snugly.

Here Is A Bra Measurement Guide That Will Help You Know Your Perfect Bra Size

You would need;

  • A measuring tape
  • A mirror
  • A comfortable non padded bra (This will help you get the perfect fit).

Process:

Step 1:

Find your band size
Stand in front of the mirror.
Wrap the tap around your bust from the back to the front. Keep the tape snug.

Pick the number then round it up to the nearest whole number.

If you get 89.2 centimeters, round it up to 90 centimeters.

Step 2:

Find your cup size

Hold the tape on the fullest part of your bust. Ensure it is not too tight.
Round off the number to the nearest whole number like you did in step 1.
This is your bust measurement.

If you’ve got a breast that is slightly larger than the other, use the measurement of the larger breast to find your cup size and tighten the handle of the smaller breast a bit more when you wear it.

Step 3

Subtract your band measurement from the bust measurement.

Let’s say your bust size is 37 and your band size is 34. Your cup size becomes;

37-34=3

If your bust measurement and band measurement are;

A)  The same number, you’re an AA cup.

B)  1-inch difference, you’re an A cup; 2-inch difference is a B cup,

C)  3 inches is a C cup,

D)  4 inches is a D cup, and so on.

From our sample measurement, this means that our cup size is a C.

Finally, write down your band measurement and put down the cup size behind it.

Here we have 34C.
